Entry 27 June: Day 2 of sailing trip in Croatia: Left Perth 22 June and travelled for 2 days. Spent 2 days in Trogir, Croatia at a fab hotel on habourside called Hotel Sikka. Brekkie with Kim Hughes and wandered around the old town then checked out our yacht. Bloody hell - it's huge and more complicated than expected. How will we manage? Both very apprehensive.
Left port on Sunday 25 June and sailed to Drevnik Island and spent the day in a beautiful bay until 25 Knot winds caused havoc in the bay. Lots of dragged anchors but we survived. Then sailed to Sesula Bay on Solta Island in the gale - what a beautiful bay and so calm.
Anchored alongside 30 other boats with stern to the shore and got off for a look around. Quite an exciting day with all the challenges of our first day sailing this 42 foot monster, so we had a few drinks and a great local meal at the restaurant overlooking the bay.
Too nice. We decided to stay a second day and night in Sesula, so today has been just a lazy day swimming in emerald waters and watching the other yachts come and go.
Tomorrow we head to Brac Island and more adventures.

Tim Very nice, very jealous. Watch the stress levels. I saw a big smoke cloud over Malaga but I am sure it wasnt your factory
cath That sounds fantastic. Tom is well just going to drop him and Luke at Holtys!!!
Steve Hi guys, that sounds idealic! You've timed it perfectly, nothing but cold and rain here. No need to stress, the factory is fine! ;) Look forward to reading more on your adventures...
Kim Sounds truly wonderful Captain. Sounds like you and the first mate are having fun !!
Mary & Jim Hi Paul and Chris, We are freezing here in Perth this week, you guys look so relaxed and warm in your shorts. It is already sounding like a great adventure. Missing you Chris for organizing the birthday lunches. Anne and I are not doing a great job at it. Heard about Tiger airways? they are grounded now that most of us have booked to go to Melbourne, never mind that is a long way off. Have fun, look foward to your blogs. Mary & Jim.
