Log 12th July:
Last 4 days spent traveling in a hire car from Trogir - where we dropped off the boat, along the coast to Rovinj in northern Croatia. Today we bus then train to Monaco.
Chris has been having kittens doing the driving on the wrong side of the road and on winding mountain roads with sheer cliffs, whilst Paul has been navigating using the Ipad. We found some great B&B's and have finally got into the European time frame of bekkie at 9am, lunch at 2 or 3pm, and dinner at 8 or 9pm. It's been really hot so we have been swimming every few hours whilst driving and have been stopping in on the sites including an amazing waterfall near Zadar (see photo) and a trendy place called Opatija which is the Croatian version of the French Riviera.
Sick of visiting churches and ruins, and eating & drinking far too much, so a few low key AFD's planned now.
