Log 12th July: Last 4 days spent traveling in a hire car from Trogir - where we dropped off the boat, along the coast to Rovinj in northern Croatia. Today we bus then train to Monaco. Chris has been having kittens doing the driving on the wrong side of the road and on winding mountain roads with sheer cliffs, whilst Paul has been navigating using the Ipad. We found some great B&B's and have finally got into the European time frame of bekkie at 9am, lunch a...

Log June 8th: Back in our starting port after 2 glorious weeks sailing the Croatian Islands on our massive yacht. We are quite the old sea dogs now and aren't looking forward to getting off our home that we have become quite attached to. Yesterday we sailed to the famous blue cave and had a lazy 5 hour sail to get within range of our final port. Real lazy day sailing and swimming. Backpacks on tomorrow as we head wherever. No plans and no bookings.

Log 6th July: On the 5th we sailed 80 km in strong winds over 8 hours. It was raining and rough seas so Christine suffered somewhat and we were pleased to arrive at Komiza, Vis. Had a few G&T's and an early night. Next day (6th) we hired a scooter and circumnavigated the island. Stopped of at some amazing bays for a swim or explore.

Log 4th July: Short sail on 3rd to Pomena Miljet and anchored in another delightful bay. Restaurants are amazing as the live fish tanks are built into the jetty. Next day 4th short sail and then lazy day at Zaklopatica Lastovo. Best meal in Croatia so far. Everyone eats between 8 - 10pm and we are slowly starting to adjust. Days are long and it's light until 9pm so we certainly get a full day in.
