Tuesday 12th Roseau Dominica

So today I went on my own as Avril not up to par.
The tour was Dominica's Favourites - a leisurely drive around parts of the island to see some of the more interesting points, first stop was high up overlooking the town at which point a rainbow appeared. Next botanical gardens, after which followed a switch back bumpy ride into the mountains to see two large water falls and The Emerald Pool. There was an opportunity to swim, which I didn't do. I must point out that the roads are narrow full of potholes and strewn with abandoned old vehicles. The final visit was to the emerald pool again way up in the mountains, however we did stop on the way for a local beer or soft drink.

Wednesday 13th Barbados

We both took a shuttle bus into the town centre to return to the Water Front Bar, where we had had a coffee on our previous visit. It was still there and a good source for wifi.

This evening we are on a Sunset Cruise, again one we have done before but such fun, thought we might as well do it again.

Not too sure what we will do tomorrow as the majority of the passengers will be heading home - apparently about 30 staying on for second cruise around the Caribbean islands.
