Belfast, UK to Derry, UK. This trip was specially tailored to see the giants causeway, the 8th natural wonder of the world. A few hours in the car, we were there in overcast weather, but that didn't really matter. this place is amazing! Talk about snap happy, we drained the battery life on the camera and took over 100 photos (they are to follow, promise).
Two doses of scenic overload and we were on the road again. Derry, being the next point on the map. Very cool city indeed, and deserves a much closer look. We did a 40 minute walk around the 'walled city' and then straight to the pub for a light evening refreshment. Being tainted by luxury, it was a difficult decision between searching for random campsites in the dark, and backing up with more of the same from the night before. Camping was the victor. Accomodation was a bit random however, we found the only place to camp in miles about 15 minutes outside of town. it was literally just a guys backyard (that's what it felt like anyways). However, it did the job, and we had the place to ourselves. Touch.
