The leaning tower of Pisa :) It was amazing to see it after hearing so much about it. I went and got my photos (the sun wasn't in the right position so they aren't very good!) and then got back on the bus. If you've never been to Pisa then you wouldn't know but there are loads of people trying to sell you everything you can think of and it does get quite irritating.

So we arrived in Lucerne in the afternoon and walked across the river, bags and all, to our hotel, the old jail. We literally stayed in a jail cell which contained two beds and a small bathroom, and who could forget the little window with bars over it. It was quite an experience and at least I can say that I slept at a jail!

Before sleeping, we had dinner and went for a walk to the lion monument. The lion monument is a war memorial to the Swiss guards that died and is a sculpture of a lion over a little pond. It is quite beautiful and amazing. After this we walked down the river and went to the pub to try some local beer ( It helps me sleep!).

So I'll see you guys tomorrow for a big day in Lucerne :) so excited!!
