Lake Mahinapua is pretty quiet apart from when the kiwi bus shos up. we stayed in a really basic hostel which used to be a farm. its owned by the oldest publican in new zealand. hes called les, is 82 and looks like santa! but grumpier!

we have whats known as the 'poo party' where we get 1hr in greymouth (a town about 20mins away) to get an outfit for the fancy dress party that night. a great way of meeting the peeps on the bus. laura and i went as blair and bush (it had to begin with p ---- politician, priminister and president) and if you win you get a canyon swing worth $170. the human pringle won, she was brilliant!

was a fab night apart from near enough every female on the bus wanting to kill a certain group of girls calling themselves the 'pink ladies'. oh its school time again!!!! lol
