Cairns is cool. Did a boat trip to the great barrier reef and stopped at an island call Michaelmas Cay. was gorgeous. Just this random island in the middle of nowhere. swam in the clearest water ive ever seen! just lovely. still here though as waiting for my passport to come back from sydney with my vietnamese visa included. theres worse places to be stuck i suppose! lol

Cape Tribulation and Daintree were lovely and it was so nice to escape cairns for a few days for the rainforests. Our huts were lovely, the 'hostel' as they call it was just the most gorgeous place. Did jungle surfing ... considering im petrified of heights it was quite a big thing for me.... was great fun though. Did a small boat cruise down the daintree river and saw only one croc.. its so hot out tthat heyre generally under the water all the time so to see eve...

The hostel here wasnt that great and the rooms were a bit crap, but cool people made up for it. went to a music festival in the valley and did the usual touristy stuff... boat cruises etc. was cool but after being by the beach for a long while, the citys not up to much. good time had though just v hot!
