Alice Srings was cool but not much to do really. Spent most of our time at the baby kangeroo santuary which was just lovely.

Arrived in Alice Springs for our 3 day tour of the Olgas, Uluru and Kings Canyon by the Ghan train... 24hours is long bloody time by train but was cool as there were a few stops. We got up every morning at 430am to watch the sunrise over Uluru and the and watched the sunset in some fabulous places. We slept in swags in our bush camps and had a fab time... walked about 12k in 2 and a half days so very knackering but worth it!!!

Kakadu National Park... what an amazing place. Decided to do a 3 day tour... bush camping and all! was fabulous. headed off early in our 4x4 with our great guide, des, possibly the most original character ive ever met ... straight down the line and just great fun! You can prob tell from the photos.... as you can see from all the pictures, the places we visited were beautiful. never seen anything like these places before. Pushed myself to the absolute limits but...

Darwin is HOT HOT oh and did I mention HOT!!! never experienced anything like it but its all good. air con is wonderful thing! The jumping croc cruise was definitely the highlight! amazing to be so up close with these amazing and huge creatures!!! if you havent checked out the video i uploaded... do it now, its fab.
