Our South East Asia adventure was almost at an end and we had to make our way to Singapore for our next flight to Australia. The night train from Bangkok to Chumphon was a pleasant affair despite only having fan cooling rather than air conditioning which our guide book had urged us to take. After the history of Angkor Wat we found ourselves in Bangkok for 3 nights to introduce ourselves to Thailand.
