Last stop on our trip is a much anticipated stay in Rio de Janeiro. The journey from Foz do Iguacú is a bus journey of just over 24 hours duration. Another town, another long bus journey, this time 17 hours from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu, which is the Argentine side of the Iguazu falls. We had but 1 day here and as soon as we had arrived and checked into our hostel we had to set off for the nearby Parque Nacional Iguazu. Following our relaxing time in Bariloche we caught the bus to Buenos Aries, another long bus journey of around 22 hours. We arrived mid-morning and all we could muster ourselves to do on arrival was drag ourselves around a few nearby squares (including the main Plaza de Mayo) and walking up the main shopping street. The journey from Mendoza to Bariloche was completed by bus taking 18 hours, it went pretty quick as there were plenty of DVDs to watch and it was comfortable to sleep.
