Hi all Just a quick update. Am back in not so sunny Sydney. In fact, the weather is more British bankholiday than Bondi brilliance. Drizzle, rain, drizzle, grey etc... Despite the crappy weather, Sydney the second time around has not been a total washout. I ended up staying in an awesome hostel right near the beach with awesome views over Tamarama beach known by locals as Glamarama due to the abundance of beautiful people posing there. However, the rain pretty much put an end to posing on the beach, so I headed over to the next best glamourous thing... the Kylie Minogue exhibition at the powerhouse museum. The exhibition was brilliant, displaying photos, awards and costumes throughout the years. She is soooooo tiny, far smaller than even me! And yes, of course the highlight was those golden hot pants - I want some! On the only sunny day of the week, I took the ferry over to Manly beach. Manly is lovely, with cool shops, great bars and restaurants, and most importantly a beautiful beach. I loved it there much more than Bondi. I also made the most of the nightlife, drinking my way around Sydney on an organised pub crawl - seriously think I was the oldest on the 'party' bus, and also out with the girls in the hostel. Am now off up the coast to Byron Bay - hopefully the sun is shining there. Lindsxxx
