Today was a beautiful, sunny day...all day! A person can really like Iceland in days like this. It's interesting because the sun never rises higher than the level we in Montana normally see in winter. So even though there aren't more hours of sunshine here, the sun never gets very high in the sky. But, that's great for photographers as low sun has better characteristics of light.
I left Keflavik with a goal of hiking up the coast, along the cliffs, for awhile and then heading to a small town on the opposite coast. There is a natural history museum there.
