Today was another tourist day. Somewhere along the way I didn't account for an extra day. I think it was due to the burro rental. I assumed the returning in a Tuesday meant tuesday evening. Alas, it meant Tuesday at the time I picked up, which was 10am. So, I had to return a day early. Luckily I did drive marathon to Dalvik so not a big deal.
I was able to get online and book an additional night at the most excellent Nupan Deluxe hotel. I get a mini room for around $100, which is 1/3 the price of a Reykjavik hotel.
And, as you can see in the photo, there is no escaping the omniscient gaze of the Colonel and his svooogott!
