Such a beautiful place with Acacia trees everywhere and elephants just wandering around. The campsite was beautiful. We were given some sausages and bread for breakfast but I was too tired to eat. Because we had slept in longer we had missed part of our day game drive so we were all eager to finish breakfast quickly.

We jumped into some jeeps with a very knowledgable driver- I saw an elephant, 5 giraffes, a cheater, gazelle, wilderbeast, vulchers and lions. Not bad for 5 hours!! Couldnt believe that this trip was free: bargain! Went back to campsite for dinner, beef, rice and veg- very nice! We then all paid (optional) k200 (2.50p) to watch a traditional masi dance where we were all invited to get involved and wear their traditional jewellery- very amusing. You should have seen them jump, I have no idea how they jump so high but it was ridiculous!!

The next day we went to a masi village for a tour around their mud houses which were so hot: I had to take a breather. THe craft work in these villages is amazing- everything is made by hand and of natural resources. Masi men are allowed up to 11 wives (so im told), the women obviously are only allowed 1 husband!!

We were taken to a masi market where we could buy jewellery or wooden products. You can even trade with them (pens, clothes, food) So its not uncommon to see masi warriors wearing Nike and Addidas clothing! I bought a camel bone necklace for 90p- bargain!!

After a long day we headed back to the truck that had now been pulled out of the mud by a tractor. Tomorrow we would be starting our long trip back to Nairobi (HELL)
