Really couldn't be bothered with another 12 hour trip straight to Byron Bay so decided to take it easy for a few days on a beach in a little surf town on Port Macquarie. Granted there is nothing to write about this place apart from the fact that I've met some really intresting people. One in the form of a guy who is on bail for carrying a dangerous weapon after he was jumped by some aboridgines a few week ago so decided to walk around with a knife until he catched them. I unfortunately share a room with him, but not to worry, hes actually a pretty sound bloke, albeit that I do sleep with one eye open at night.

Theres just miles and miles of georgous beaches over here, I would be able to enjoy it if I didn't hate sand so much! And I have resorted to permanantly drinking goon now as I officially cannot buy beer any more as its too expensive. So one month in I'm going strong with no money.

And randomly I met a guy from Burnley who's going up the east coast so might tag along with him for a bit. It's very surreal to here a Lancashire accent again.
