The "real" trip doesn't start until Wednesday but as I'm leaving Longreach today this is the beginning to my holiday!

Mum and I flew down to Brisbane where we had a bit of fun with her in a wheelchair being pushed by a lovely young man and me carrying my backpack, handbag, Mums wheelie walker and pushing,pulling Mums large suitcase as we made our way over to the car hire place.... seemed like a mile away!! Mum is rather disappointed she didn't take a photo of me cos I looked like one of those beasts of burden piled high with goods!!

With Mum safely delivered to her sisters place in Eumundi I continued on and made it safely to Heathers in Buderim. 

So a not so distant destination but at least .... I'm on holiday!!
