A quick note to let you knw we are off by train this afternoon from Trichy, back to Chennai.

We have arranged the same Hotel which has WiFi (kind of) in each room.

Whilst were are there we may do a day trip to Mallapuram, two hours south - it depends a bit as we are running out of money. No alcohol available in Chennai as far as we can tell so that should save many rupees!

Should arrive in Chennai at 9.15pm tonight.

Yesterday we happened upon a Royal Enfield dealership and went in for a look - ended up going to their service centre / parts operation (Des on the back of an Enfield Thunderbird) and bought a few consumables (oil filter, air filter, spark plugs - Doug is a Twin Spark model and has two fitted - and a Tank Bag). All good stuff straight from the factory.

The lights just went off again - it happens many times a day - so better not push our luck.
