About to go the airport (even tho its not even 7 yet, and i dont get my flight till 7 tomorrow morning!! Oh the fun i will have . . . ) Spent most of the day yesterday at isla del sol- a gorgeous island in the middle of lake Titicaca, was v. beautiful and tranquil . . . . until that night, When there was possibly the biggest storm i have ever witnessed in my short little life. It was absolutely pouring down, and not just outside, oh no, INSIDE my room. Wondered why i could hear the rain so loudly, it wasnt till about an hour in (at 5am) when Danella and Nione were knocking on my door, that i turned on my light and realised the rain was pretty much POURING through my ceiling. The floor itself was a minature lake titicaca. Was absolutely petrified all night! Thubder and lightening was SO close. Thought the ceiling might collapse with the amount of water coming through. And when i woke up there was snow everywhere!!! Bizarre or what. ANYWHO, im still here. Cant wait to see everyone in orlando!!! Less than 24 hours now!
