Today we were up early as we are getting a flight with air Asia to Phuket. We checked out of the hotel and made our way to the airport in a taxi which was 600 baht. Once we got there we went to check it, the check out lady told us our tickets didn't include bags so we had to carry our rucksacks with us through the airport. We went for a quick snack, I had a chicken and cheese toasty. We went to the gate and waited for the plane to start boarding. We saw some really cute little thai baby's and children who were all really hyper while waiting. Once we boarded the plane there was a insect repellent being sprayed out from the vents which looked really weird. I've never seen that happen. The flight wasn't too bad, it took about a hour and 20 minutes. Once we arrived we went straight through the airport and got in a taxi. The taxi was 1500 baht to Patong beach which we thougt was quite expensive. When we arrived at our hotel 'the citin plaza' we saw signs for airport taxis for 800 baht. I would suggest bartering with the men at the airport as they'll rip you off otherwise. We unpacked a few things and went to explore. We took a walk down to the beach and was immedietly approached by a beach boy who had jet skis. He tried persuading us to go on but we were not interested. He then offered us weed and we accepted. He went over to another beach boy and came back over and asked us to sign a paper while he slipped the bag onto the clipboard. We payed 1300 baht and got about £30 worth. We went back to the hotel and got some money money and went and bought papers from seven eleven. By this time we were quite hungry so we decided to get some food. We went to a restaurant near the hotel and we both got a pad Gai. The food was delicious and only came to 500 baht.
We went back to the hotel and had a spliff and watched a film on the tv. It began raining outside but we weren't to bothered as we were content. Once the rain had stopped we decided to go for a crepe and some drinks. We set off down the strip and saw a tattoo studio. We decided to enquire inside and look at some of the designs. They were amazing. We walked down the strip and came to a pancake stand. I got a banana and chocolate one which was 550 baht. We continued down the strip and looked in all the bars. We went in a massive club which had about 60 mini bars inside with pole dancers. The dancers were really good and were shaking there asses so hard and sliding down the pole it was crazy. I had a mojito which was really strong. We got another drink and returned to the hotel.
