Hi all, arrived in Buenos Aires the afternoon of the 26th October after an uneventful flight form La Paz. Well apart from the fact the plane was just about to drop in pieces and we were both nursing hangovers from hell!! Hi Everyone, just returned from the 3 day lares trek to machu picchu and a day visiting the site. The trek was absolutely fantastic, never dropping below 3800 metres and gaining a maximum height of 4300 metres. This trek is slightly different than the official Inca trail to machu picchu which is quite heavily regulated, with only a certain number of people allowed to start the trail per day. Hi Everyone Had a mad few days in Nasca. Spent 8 hours on the bus from Lima (buses are pretty good though, big leather recliners and you get a meal!). We´re famous in Nasca though!
