Hi all, arrived in Buenos Aires the afternoon of the 26th October after an uneventful flight form La Paz. Well apart from the fact the plane was just about to drop in pieces and we were both nursing hangovers from hell!!
What a suprise, Buenos Aires is by the far the best city we have visted and the area we stayed ( Palermo ) one of the most affluent in town. Cool bars, restraunts and boutiques. The hostel was ok, nice friendly people and a nice place to relax.
Salads what a joy, after 6 weeks of being unable to eat salds in peru / bolivia they were now safe to eat. Spent the first 4 days in buenos Aires simply enjoying the fact we could explore the city without feeling threatened and eat the most amazing food, drink the best wine for next to nothing.
Decided to move on and see the Iguazo Falls on the border with Brazil, Nicola very excited. This was one of the things she really wanted to see on our trip.
Not disappointed the falls are absolutely amazing. Rained the best part of the 3 days we were there, got absolutely soaked. Took a ride in a speed boat right under the falls which ensured we spent the rest of the day drenched.
