Hi Everyone

Arrived in Lima late Sunday night - unfortunately our luggage didn´t arrive with us! Got it back the next day though which was a bit of a relief.

Staying in the Miraflores area of Lima which by all accounts is the poshest area - it seems fine - fairly modern buildings and nice restaurants etc. Had our first taste of Peruvian food yesterday - no guinea pig yet though!

It´s freezing here, don´t think we were quite expecting how cold it would be - not in the city anyway! Had to sleep in sleeping bags even in the hotel to keep warm!

Met the rest of the people on our tour last night - everyone seems nice, there´s a real mix of people, students, canadians, australians and English.

We´re all moving on today - travelling by bus to Nazca (6 hours) and tomorrow we´ll be seeing the famous Nazca Lines in a small plane. Then it´s on to Arequipa which hopefully is going to be a bit warmer - we´ll get to do some sandboarding down the sand dunes there which should be fun especially as neither of us can surf or snowboard!
