Mercado de San Anton

Right beside the plaza de Cheuca is home to this brilliant market. More a food emporium or an upmarket hawkers market. You can order anything you want from fish to pasta and then eat it together on high stools and sharing tables.

This was a slice of empanada (unusual concept as they are normally individual portions but actually rather clever and I think I'll do the same for a pic nic.

Tomato based sauce with beef was inside and we also shared a slice or tortilla. Slightly under seasoned but still had lots of perfectly cooked potato.
