Ate lunch on the beach. Ed did some serious negotiating and we had a shared seafood platter. Alas no camera. It was a feast of large langoustine Camerones, calimares, fried fish and plantain and coconut rice. Gorgeous alioli mayonnaise and chilli sauces too. It was all beautifully served on the same silver fish shaped dishes that Roland Roots bar in Providencia had. With fine golden sand between my toes and loud Caribbean music too. Amazing !

Lunch was same as last nights dinner. Vegetable pasta with mayonnaise soy oregano and scotch bonnet. Absolutely fine.

Egg and cheese breakfast roll for Ed. Egg for me. I've taken a great fancy to mustard with my eggs. Nice and tangy.

Tienda hooker. This was lemon meringue pie. Absolutely gorgeous. For less than a dollar on an expensive island too. Light fluffy meringue, a tangy sticky lemon layer (less curd like than in Ireland and slightly sweeter which I actually prefer) and a thin layer of pastry. So impressed we ended up getting another slice for the way home !

Same lady on the road to San luis. Tienda hooker This is banana cake. It's super moist and is like a no rise cake. Guessing there is no butter in the cake only eggs flour, sugar and banana. Tasted like a rich moist dense banana bread. A cheeky scoop of vanilla ice cream would have found a happy home here!
