Back in San Andres. Got the boat today. Not many food options here that aren't really expensive. Like €50 for dinner. We wandered along the road looking for a fair table. Fair tables are where people sell food from their home in their front yard or porch. A lovely old lady and her friend James hooker Powell were selling cakes. Her son was supposed to open up his restaurant but he didn't make it. It's another public holiday here ! But she had some fish balls...

We had these special treats last night and tonight. Little pots of chocolatey heaven. We don't eat chocolate at all really so these were gorgeous. Reminded me of summer in France. Their yoghurt pots were so much richer and more indulgent than our yoplait pots. We also had some fresh coconut that Juan Carlos opened with his machete. Island Bounty pots !

Trying to eat what is left in our cupboards. Ridiculously happy how only thing I've had to throw out in two weeks is half a cabbage. Honestly I feel giddy. Silly I know. Anyway. Tonight we had pasta with carrots peas and sweet corn in a mayonnaise oregano, scotch bonnet and soy sauce sauce. (Italian Asian fusion!) Ed only likes mayonnaise pasta cold so I made it at lunch. It was absolutely fine. Totally edible ;)

Homemade Garlic fries, fried egg and Italian Asian sweet corn (scotch bonnet, mayonnaise, soy sauce, oregano) Not the healthiest but rather delicious and our portions weren't massive. Blackberry water for thirst quenching power.

Breakfast - the last of our porridge and peach jam. Had a glass of really cold coconut water too. So refreshing.
