This was one of the best meals Ive ever had!
We shared a 42 lb rib eye!!! I know. Apparently 10 lb were bone but the rest amazing meat. My goodness it was juicy and perfectly cooked medium rare and full of flavour. Lots of fat on it as you'd expect but it was easily cut off the edges which was very kind of the cow. It was slow cooked with chilli and white onions. They told us the chilli peppers were less jalapeño and more bell pepper tasting. They were wrong. It was our fault for asking the water boy and not asking the waitress. Still the burst of flames I experienced was quite amusing for Ed!
We ordered two sides of French fries and asparagus.
The asparagus like ever other asparagus I've had in America was perfectly steamed and full of flavour.
The fries were that magical combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a light very mild spice.
