McDonald's mcflurry created by the chefs from the gorgeous Marea restaurant. They apparently got lots of stick for creating this black forest gateaux icecream. Basically they were called sell outs. The dessert was really nicely balanced (can you say that about McDonald's ?) I don't personally like sweet cherry but it was polished off by Mr Dunne.

Crepes and waffles salad bar So delicious. Brilliant value take away. I just took some of everything... Quinoa, salad, broccoli, grated carrot, boiled egg, peas, tiny baby boiled potatoes, garbanzo beans, lentils, orzo style grain, Beetroot, cucumber, celery and a pesto style vinaigrette. Making me hungry.

Hotel Patio de Getsemani Breakfast in hotel. Really like that you never know what you're going to get. This was an arepa with a fried egg and minced meat inside. It was very interesting. Think it would have been better just cooked. Really arepas can only be eaten straight out of the fryer. Still it was fun cutting it open to see what it had inside. Served with banana and papaya juice. (I love this juice!)

Hotel Patio de Getsemani Plate one of the breakfast. Really like it here. The fruit in Cartagena is sunshine injected.
