Room with a view in juggle town. First they gave me a room with a view to a brick wall hoistway, which was shamefully draped.
Iquitos is surrounded by three rivers: the Nanay, the Itaya and the Amazon. It can be reached only by plane or boat. Ocean vessels of 3,000 tons can reach Iquitos from the Atlantic, roughly 3600 km away. The city itself has roads, its traffic is dominated by mototaxi.
