Well arrived safely to HEAT!! and we found our appartment, after getting the keys from a darling little Italian man in the Hotel next door. YOu have to climb all these stairs 78 in all to get to reception, we were really knackered!! We got in to the appartment everything is decorated in red and Gold!! It was the only room left in Venice! 300 Euro really worth it though as we are right next to the Rialto Bridge. Fantastic day of seing Venice, feeding pigeons in San MArco and riding water taxis. Called MArtin from a really fantastic little square after eating some tirramisu and drinking a good cup of coffee. Came back to rest and we went back to see the bell tower and then the Bridge of Sighs. Hatties a great tour guide as she has done this last year.rnVenice is packed but we are fighting the crowds and loving it. One of our favorite places so far.
