Hello! Ive arrived at our first stop - Hollywood! Got here on Friday after a good flight and found our way to the hostel - very nice as is in a really good location just off Hollywood Boulevard and has everything we need - internet, kitchen,entertainment and tours and free pancakes every morning!

Went on a tour from the hostel on our first morning - a walk up to the Hollywood sign - turned out to be more of a hike - the hill was soo steep! but managed to get some good pictures so was worth it in the end. After our exhausting morning we walked up Hollywood boulevard along the walk of fame and to the chinese theatre and looked at the shops before going to see a film at one of the chinese theatre cinemas - Alvin and the Chipmunks!

Sunday we spent in downtown LA - caught the metro there (very different from London underground - no one was on it and the stations were all themed!) Visited Chinatown and all the nice shops there and looked round a cathedral and mexican style market. Then spent the evening at the hostel as they had a comedy evening on which was quite good fun.
