Surfers Paradise

Well we had a bit of a nightmare when we woke up in Brisbane to get the bus to Surfers....we had missed the bus!! I nearly had a heart attack! The lovely lady at the desk had transferred us over to the next one at 12:30. We arrived in Surfers round 2 and checked into Budds hostel. It's really chilled which was great. We walked round the town but nothing too exciting. Rooms are ok, one fan between 8 of us so safe to say I didn't sleep!

Today we went to Currumbin wild life park! Omg it was brill!! I finally got to cuddle a Koala bear!! He was lovely an fluffy an smelt great! We walked round the park an got to see loads of the Australian animals. We watched a bird show and a croc show too. We got pics with a baby croc, an eagle and a snake!! We also got to feed the Kangaroos. They were so placid. There was a mummy with a joey in her pouch who kept popping out. Having pizza for dinner tonight, all you can eat an 2 beers for $10...can't be bad!

We're off to Byron tomorrow, our final destination before Sydney!
