So the next stop was the Calgary tower. Was a great way to see the city. Unfortunately the clouds meant I couldn't see the mountains properly. The is also a glass portion where you can step out and see straight down. I really didn't like it but Bret made me for a picture. So the next stop was Build-a-bear to collect my last present from Bret. After creating the bear I got to pick a costume so of course I picked a Mountie to remember Canada. The next step was to pay and it was at that point they made me ring a bell and then they announced to the whole store it was my birthday and sang me a birthday song. I think Bret was very pleased at my total embarrassment.

So the first stop was Denny's for a free birthday breakfast grand slam. Eggs, Bacon, sausage and pancakes!!! Yum

Yay its my birthday! So Bret came to pick me up and give me my presents. I was definitely feeling spoiled, especially when I got the signed picture of Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor Who). It was just the start of an awesome day.

The last stop for my birthday was Bret's house to see his family. Little did I know he'd organised his mum Janice to get me a Ice-cream cake. Janice mentioned that she was very disappointed she hadn't made it into my blog so this is a special thank you for getting me the cake at such short notice!
