Up early this morning to get organised for our cruise. Raj picked us up at 10:30 and it took 2 hours to get to Southampton (no delays, thank goodness). Getting on the ship was a smooth process and only a small wait. Our cabins were ready and luggage there before us! Had some lunch before the muster and then we were off. Lots of ships going out at the same time. Not a very attractive port to leave from though. Deck party was out the back around the Aquarius pool and bar. We sailed out of Southampton waters, into the English Channel (the busiest seaway in the world). Passed the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth before getting ready for dinner. Steaks all round tonight!
