Brisbane

We took the train into Brisbane and spent the day in town. Tried the casino - I said tried. Took the hop on hop off bus around the perimeter of the city and caught the train back to Virginia station not far from Robs.

Brisbane - Springbrook - Mt Tamborine

We heard from Graham & Nancy and have put off for a day going to see them as Nance had to attend a funeral. We will stay at Robs for one more night. Rob shouted dinner tonight.

We took the drive down the Gold Coast Hwy towards Surfers and headed to Springbrook, saw some fantastic scenery, waterfalls and plant life. The people living and serving the public up here are really friendly. Our drive home was via Tamborine, Nerang and to Fays mind very windy. Our car didn't like the 18% up slopes on the way - very steep.

Mandi came home around 9.15pm - they work very hard these two and both Fay & I are very impressed with them both and we are hoping this is Robs last search. Mandi is fantastic in all respects and we have grown in only two days to fall in love with her.
