Brisbane - Helensvale - Mermaid Beach

We said our goodbyes to Rob & Mandi. Rob had to work and Mandi cut Dons hair, he loves it. Arriving in Helensvale we were very happy to meet Nance & Graham after such a long time apart. Nance prepared a very nice lunch and we all had a great chinwag for around 4 hours. Graham has really got some problems with very bad torn ligaments in his right leg and is getting around with the assistance of a walking frame. Nance waits on him hand and foot - so what's different you might say, been doing that all her life. They talked us into finding the local chemist and buying some "Fugglies". We left Helensvale looking for a bed for the night and stopped at The Classic Motel in Mermaid Beach. A 3 star but very clean and quite comfortable and the right price.
