Noosaville - Brisbane via Maroochydore & Bribie Island

Left Pelican Beach Resort around 8.30am and headed south towards Brisbane stopping off at Maroochydorefor a stop at the RSL. This is a fantastic club with all the facilities that one would require. Many different pokies but alas with the same result for Fay. We had a good look around Maroochydore, the beach and city centre etc. and then headed for Bribie Island.

Bribie has changed a lot from our memories with a large golf club, marina and many more holiday lettings. We had lunch of fish and chips and they were fantastic. A good tour of the island saw us off and on our way to Robs. Glenn's' GPS has been invaluable and a very good guide to where we are going. Far better that the one we used to have. Don flogged the old one on EBay some time ago.

We arrived safely at Robs house and let ourselves in. Rob has done a power of work here and the place looks a treat. Unpacked some clothes for our dinner tonight and then a quiet cuppa while we wait for Rob to come home. We met Mandi and instantly took a liking to her. She is a very level headed lady and obviously cares / loves Rob so much. We hope he has found his match at last. He is head over heels in her presence also.

Out for dinner tonight with Rob & Mandi, Ian, John & Sally - Turkish Restaurant. Good food, great company and just a very good night.
