My journey started quite emotionally. Two friends came to my home to say goodbye and one of them even came to the airport. My godmother came to my departure as well which was very nice. My mom had to cry after I left for the biggest journey I've ever been on. So after a long flight with stops in Dubai and Singapore, I arrived safely at a home of my uncle's friend. The next day I slept until half past 4 in the afternoon and had some interesting discussions afterwards with Tobias and his girlfriend. On Tuesday I met up with Christian who now is here for another 2 nights. We went to the city and enjoyed South Bank, a very nice area, filled with lots of shops, that we didn't go to (budget:)) We also walked along the river and across many bridges which definitely left their mark on the face of Brisbane. In the afternoon we went to the movies and watched total recall for only 5.5 bucks. Tonight we had dinner at Tobias' house and had another great talk on Australian culture and the difference between the 5th and the old continent.
