FARFRUMWURKEN
We arrived on Thursday in Toronto after close to 12-hours of flying time from Rio. Two new airlines under our belt - GOL and COPA - both pretty good, particularly the fact that all the alcohol and food was free - unlike our Air Canada programs.
We were welcomed with snow. Having not had to cope with this **** for the last 9 years, I was a little tentative in my driving but thankfully we rented a big truck rather than the Challenger that was offered at the counter.
After a few hours sleep at the airport hotel we headed north to Newmarket to see Aaron, Tracy and my little princess Hannah. It was a great few days to be able to see loved ones. We also got the chance to meet a tremendous lady in Angie. We stayed with a very close friend, Terry Holgate at his new home on the lake in Willow Beach (Lake Simcoe) and had an amazing stay.
Thank you guys for being so open and caring. You have always been like family.
Having to spend 3 hours on our drive from Newmarket to YYZ, I'm looking forward to getting back to the west coast. I'm obviously no longer an "easterner" - I could never deal with the tons of traffic, the horrible weather or the tons of traffic.
We get to the airport and leave one hour late because we have to de-ice. Better later than never I say. Can't wait to see if the car starts after 50 days at the airport.

Bill Evans Hi: Really enjoyed following along with you two. Amazing trip. Only thing, you should have taken the Challenger....nothing like 425 horses with rear wheel drive on ice. That would have been a highlight!
