FARFRUMWURKEN
We left Bluffton this morning on schedule. The girls have been adhering to my somewhat rigid schedule. I needed to get going early as it's about a 6 to 7 hour drive from Bluffton, SC to Jupiter, Florida. We've scheduled to stay in Juno Beach with is just down the road from our old stomping grounds on Singer Island and Jupiter. It'll be good to see the old places after some 35 years.
The truck has continued to run like a top, albeit it's a bit of a gas gussler but it makes up for it with the smooth ride. We stopped at in Titusville on the way down for lunch at my favorite spot, The Cracker Barrel. It's good old country cooking at reasonable prices.
We made really good time running the entire round on the southbound interstate I95, so we pulled off and headed to my old house at Ocean Walk in Jupiter. I bought this place around 1978 when I was unemployed for $124,000 US and ended up selling it two-years later for a tidy profit - today it lists for around $850,000 - kick myself or what.
From there we headed over to Singer Island to check our our old condo, Eastpointe I. Everything is still the same so I guess the hurricane's have spared everything on the island. Tonight is seafood again at Juno Beach Fish house and then off to bed. We need to be out of here about 10:00 a.m. tomorrow so that we can board the ship in Fort Lauderdale at around noon after we return the rental beast.

Loretta Well I am trying to keep up with you two. You sure do get around town don't you? Does this ever get tiring at all? You Bob, were always a goal getter anyway, so I am not surprised that you are travelling all over the planet. I assume you both are in great health. Any problems? I hope not! Well happy travelling. hugs, Loretta
Jim Home, home again...reminds me of a "Pink Floyd" song
Liz Rosa Love reading your blogs. I get lots of inspiration from them. It must be very nostalgic seeing all your old haunts. I'm sure it's memory overload! Enjoy!
