Today was spent on our feet! We got up after a nice sleep in, ate breakfast and hopped on the the metro train to go to the Louvre. We all saw the famed Mona Lisa, just getting close to it was a challenge! After spending all morning and lunchtime wandering around the Louvre we boarded the Paris underground train system and went to the home of the French Republican Guard. When we were there we saw marching bands, rifle drill teams, equestrian shows and a fantastic motorbike display. After all this we boarded the train and transferred three times before hopping off and heading for the hotel for a dinner of beef and crème brûlée!
