Had an easy drive to Ieper after 2 smooth and stress free flights. All are gathered and safe and sound. Checked into the hotel, had dinner and then attended the 8pm Menin Gate Service. It was a quick one tonight, but tomorrow night's service, with our group involved will include some hymns, anthems, speeches and wreath laying. Very chilly here and we've already broken out the tour gear for our walk tonight. We stopped on the way back to the hotel at Cloth Hall in the square for a quick look. We'll visit there tomorrow. Tired little Teds have all gone to bed and settled well. That long trip is tiring!! Our adventure begins ....
