Hey there!!!
I need to be quick typing up my blog tonight as the people in the guesthouse want to go to bed so I might havve to keep this one short for once!
Im so HAPPY to be in KRAIBI, its such a brillant stopover that I'm relieved that i followed my gut instincts to go herre, obv with some advice from the resoert at Koa Toa. I cant spell that place but Im actually glad that I eventually left it. Its grand for a couple of days but you tend to do nothing but laze around on the white sandy beach. Sounds great but I need to see more and do alot more sigt seeing. I saw the same beach for 4 days, it gets boring after a while! What annoyed me is that the tourist information people didnt do much to inform new comers what to do at this resort. Thankfully, i did the snorkelling day with the group. That's the only daily excursion I did!!That was well worth it-seeing all these beautiful beaches and islands especially the last one called Nangyuan Island Dive Resort. Thats where I stood on the mountain view top marvelling at the view all around me. It was absolutely wonderful to see from that height all around yiu. It took me ages to get up there so it had to be worthed!!Also nearly fell a few times down their make shift wooden stairs!!
Even though i have been in Kraibi, i have done alot MORE!! I have visited this unknown beach caled Raleigh on a LONGTAIL boat which i really loved! That was my favourite part of the trip going on the longtail, you feel the nature so much more around you! It was so funny, I thought it was a longtail boat cruise around the coast. I didnt realise we were going to an actual beach to stay there for a couple of hours. So when the boat stopped, i was taken back thinking, "What am I going to do here on my own?" There was this german guy on his own who was chatting to these OVERLY enthusiastic Americans about their recent travels around Asia, specifically Cambodia, Vietnam and Soutb Korea. As the german guy got off the boat named Nicol, he could sense my urgency to go back to Kraibi again. The boat guy said, "How long do you want to stay here?". I answered so quickly, "An hour!" but Nicol interrupted saying, "I want to stay here for a couple of hours!" so the baot man is going to wait til then. Off i went with Nicol, i fely a bit starnge having to talk to a a complete stranger but i gathered a good impression of him whilst on the baot. I felt safe around, it was nice talking to him about his travels so far. Im on this beautiful white sandy beach, surrounded by these dramatic huge cliffs-it was mindblowing. You had to walk around it for a while to find this beach. Therre are many resorts on this beach too. Me and NIcol were such EXPLORERS, we went around for ages finding these different routes. We even went into the jungle but then he realised that he didnt know where he was going. I was just folowing him!! I thought we'd get attacked by something!! Next to the jungel, there are these cute little huts nearby for ONLY 300 baht a night. So cheap!! I wanted to day in one so badly!!
I must go but i will tell you about my kayaking trip today near Kraibi in a place called BOR THOR village. Ive had the best day so far in a long time. It was BLISS!!! I will never forget that awesome scenery, so stunning kayaking down this calmest river-just the four of us-all to ourselves! Wil continue with this tomorrow. Will be going on a visit to 4 different islands around PHI PHI, so much to do!! Very exciting thou!!!!!
