Hello all :) So we ended up staying outside Ilfracombe for 4 nights, all bar the last night we had the campsite to ourselves (and our newly borrowed cat!) We both really loved Ilfracombe, a very pretty seaside spot with great art galleries and independent shops to browse - although parts of it are definitely still living in the 70's! So we set off again (!) after enjoying the fabulous D-Day celebrations at Portsmouth - they were amazing, full credit to all involved - the ceremony was very moving, the red arrows were excellent as always and we went to a 40's style concert on the Saturday which was followed by a fantastic fireworks display. Last Friday we set off to stay at Walnut Tree Farm near Bristol, it was just as lovely as it sounds - complete with fresh eggs...
