Day in Helsinki- very early start for ferry - Superstar! Arrived at 9.30 and took a scenic walk (not on purpose) for a few miles to reach market square! Went on a windy boat ride around the islands, visited senate square and two cathedrals, a nice chocolate cafe and a weird museum! Took the ferry to Suomenlinna fortress and spent the afternoon walking round in the sunshine including a visit to the museum and submarine. All very pretty! Headed back to the centre...

Tallinn - a day of boats and towers! Had a later start which was nice as we had the apartment so could do as we wanted. Much more grey today so got the bus to the seaplane harbour and looked around the museum there at boats and planes, went on a submarine simulator and climbed on some more boats! Back to the old town and found a nice chocolate shop so sampled some yummy handmade chocolates, then spent the afternoon climbing towers and seeing the sights in the old...

Sailing Stockholm to Tallinn Morning train from Oslo was late again (!) but arrived early afternoon in sunny Stockholm (looked quite different from last time we came!) Unfortunately spent the next hour lost in the heat with our bags trying to find the ferry port, until some nice Dutch people came to our rescue and lent us a better map! Return to Oslo - Early train non eventful but quite late into Oslo due to signalling fault - standard! Arrived to crowds of people at the station. Back to central apartments - different room and not so cave like this time! Went into centre and saw the cathedral (nearly joined in a service by accident!) and walked up on the roof of the opera house to get a view of the city. Train from Oslo we were provided with entertainment from seat swappers and babies. Lots of pretty views though and winding tracks! When we arrived found the 'Magic Hotel' at the top of a hill!
