Goteborg to Oslo Spent morning at city museum - cultured in Vikings now! Second train ride went smoothly - did have a south west train moment when we had to stop and wait for police to remove people from the track (!) but still reached Oslo on time! Saw some pretty views too. Arrived in Oslo late afternoon and found our hotel / apartment - room slightly cave like! Needed to crawl in and out of bed! Evening spent at Frogner sculpture park followed by dinner at...

Go Goteborg! Made good use of our card - first a guided boat trip with a very enthusiastic Swedish guide who had some great cheesy jokes! checked out Liseberg (theme park) for a visit the next day and enjoyed some Swedish sun! Next day was all go - visit to the Alfons Alberg kulturhus, another boat trip to Alvsborgs fortress in the sunshine, followed by an active afternoon climbing in and out of boats and submarines at the Maritiman museum. Next back to Liseberg...

So Malmo...arrived mid festival - very busy and lively! Wide range of music to entertain us from hard rock to classics, plus beat box! Visited another castle and museum (the culture bit of the day) and had another long walk to the 'Turning Torso'. Sampled some more wine (first time to be ID'd!) and nice food. Laugh of the day learning how to negotiate lifts! We're trying to master the art of repacking bags that are as big as us! (See picture!) Now waiting for...

Had a packed few days in Copehagen - visited the Royal palace, two castles, had a very long walk to the very little mermaid, did a canal tour, went up the round tower, visited museums galore, Hans Christian Anderson house (when we found it!), Tivoli gardens at night yesterday and rides in the rain today! Sampled the local brew, Danish pastries and lots of fish. Walked many miles! On to Malmo imorgon! Farvel Kobenhavn!

All set and ready to go! Europe here we come!
