Day 19 Hokitika 27-02-16 Having told you all yesterday that we had a plan for today, it all fell apart during the night… Those of us who don't sleep too well knew in the early hours that we would not be going flying !! The weather had turned on us.. it was blowing a good storm..thunder, lightning and a massive downpour of rain… Though this would not affect the plans of the girls going jewellery making it would have an adverse effect on the "fliers"....

Day 18 Westport to Hokitika 26-02-16 Today we have a short drive to Hokitika where it is planned for Paul, Trev, Lis & John to take a plane journey over the local glaciers, with a chance to land and walk around on the glaciers themselves… As Pat & Dee do not wish to do this, for them it is a trip to a Jade "factory" where they have a chance to make their own jewellery !!
