The last couple of days have been spent recharging the batteries, a little shopping for essentials and a small matter of a Christening !!

However, as you can see from the pics Trev came a long way to wash Megan's car, Dee travelled all this way to "cut hair" and Pat did all the washing... I, of course, took photos for posterity and wrote the blog !!

Today, 14th (Valentines Day) we all went to a Christening for Phil & Mel's children ( Lola & Tate) and to their place afterwards with all the families. The poor Devil Dodger who was conducting the ceremony was a little perplexed that we could not answer all his religious questions relating to baptism !!! Well what did he expect ???? After a barbie at Phil & Mel's with a few beers included (and a few good conversations with both sides of the family) it was back to Lis & John's to prepare for the early start tomorrow... The mini bus is due to pick us up at 04:15 to take us to Sydney airport for leg 3 of our trip to NZ. Short trip relatively of about 3 hours Sydney to Auckland, get the hire car and head off a little further north of Auckland on the North Island to begin the next part of the adventure. So 'V' early to be tonight......
