Well what a wonderful firework display, celebrating the Chinese New Year. That was an unexpected bonus to the itinerary. The police were obviously prepared as they had shut all the roads in the area and were shepherding the quite substantial crowds towards the viewing areas !! Trev & Paul wandered off to find a better place to take photos as the crowds were getting bigger.

The show lasted about 20 mins and was quite spectacular, noisy, bright and colourful. Well worth the walk to get to the harbour front. A long, slow, steady walk back to the hotel was completed with a trip to the local 711 (of which there are many) for necessary supplies.
