Hey Everyone, its elisa

We are now back in Thailand, Bangkok. The journey over was a bit tiring. 4 and half hours to the border at Poipet then a 2 hour wait for the bus to arrive and another 3and a half to 4 hours from Aranyaprathet to Bangkok.

weve decided to stay in a different part of Bangkok abit further away to see sum other areas, quite a while away from Khao San road. Coach dropped us off at Khao San and we decided to stay there till the crazy traffic jams died down. the taxi drive wanted to charge us 10 pounds for the journey when really it would be 2 pounds- just coz of the traffic. went to eat somewhere and just relaxed abit. then got the taxi to the hostel, however he didnt actually know where the hostel was, and every1 we asked had never herd of the place. we didnt have any phone number to call them, all we had was the road, yet still couldnt find it. ended up leaving the taxi and walking along the streets to see if we could find it. found a woman that knew where it was, so finally we found it!

went upstairs to the room- 2 bunk beds, and the room is pretty tiny, probs the size of the computer room in my house! not much room to put our bags so im having to sleep with it on my bed- luky coz im short n small. one of the guys we are sharing with was annoying in bed last nite- i havent met him yet coz he went to bed late, but he kept turning the air con off - when the room is BOILING!!! and hes sleeping below me, and every time he moves it actually feels like there is an earthquake. At first i thought he was having a fit or something coz it sounded like he was just kiking his legs over and over agen on the mattress. weird man. im sure hes a nice guy...

walked around exploring last nite, but there wasnt much to see or do. We did see afew sights tho- e.g a Rat and loads of massive cockroaches on the pavement :S . i miss khao san road lol! tom had a little incident where he got bit by a dog, but we checked it out and its all fine now so no need to worry.

today we went round the shopping malls, just looking around. I ended up caving into the pressure and bought a 'same same but different' t shirt. damn. wanted to go to the cinema but there were no good films to see. Ate at some expensive cafe, 4pounds for a wrap and chips tut! lol. and they chared for service even tho we had to carry our plates to the table ourselves- wot service! pft. food wa tastey though.

Also walked through Lumphini park which was pretty cool! its a park...oviously, but so much more! its got excersise things!! you know like in our parks we have swings and slides and those spinnging things...well they have things you stand on and swing sideways, i think it tones ur tummy- i need to spend more time there! and they have pull up bars, excersise bikes- which tom tried and he said they were really uncomfortable and rubbish lol, and weight lifting things. people ride their bikes around the park, or job, or....ROLLERBLADE lol (there was only one guy doing that and he was probs american). there was also a swimming pool outside, i was ready to go run and jump in fully clothed i was so hot but the doors were locked! :(

we also saw some GIANT LIZZARDS!!! almost as big as me! or probs bigger (doesnt take much).!!! got sum piccies of them, but the big one jumped into the river so didnt get him.

not doing much tnite, use the internet and thats about it! not much else we can do, think were gona go find some place to eat! tomorrow i think the plan is to check out china town, golden buddha and maybe go visit khao san road agen.
